Hallo Klasse! (Hello Class!). I am so excited to share my experience studying abroad in Germany this semester, but before I do, I want to share more information about myself and why I am abroad!
I was born in Concord, North Carolina, but I have lived in Charlotte for most of my life. Growing up, I stayed active by playing sports and participating in band. I played in my school band for many years, where I learned the saxophone and drums.
After graduating from Mallard Creek High School in 2022, I moved to Greensboro, NC, for college. I chose to study business because I love learning how companies work and how they help people worldwide.
I love exploring the outdoors and staying active! Some of my favorite activities include hiking, kayaking and traveling. Being out in nature is a great way to relax and see new places, whether it's a trail in the mountains or a peaceful river. Traveling is another big passion because I enjoy experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, and learning about different parts of the world.
Family is very important to me, and I love spending time with mine whenever possible. Most of my family lives in North Carolina, so I am lucky to have them nearby. My aunt lives in Durham, and my grandparents live in Mint Hill.
