I travelled around 250 KM (155 miles) this week around Switzerland. The soccer game was my furthest journey. I went to a town called Laussane, and it was about 70 KM (40 miles).
So far, I have travelled to Belgium, England, and Paris and Nice, France. I also had a layover in Munich, Germany, which gave me time to explore the city! According to my calculations, that is about 2700 KM or 1700 Miles!
I got around on Switzerland’s public transport. Transportation is included with my program, so all of my travels within the country are free! Young students, businessmen, politicians, bankers, and more use public transport. It is clean, fast, and efficient!
The most interesting place I went to was the World Trade Organization. It was super cool because they are in charge of the policy that allows goods to be transported to different countries! You know how we get fancy cars like Mercedes? Parts from cars like that are made in Germany, for example. The tools, toys, and products we have in the US are only there because of the work the World Trade Organization does.
