I enjoy riding in autorickshaws the most because they are quick and cheap, and you get a breeze as you ride. It's a little bit bumpy, but all the rickshaws have their own colorful decorations and the drivers are very kind. The only negative part about the autorickshaw is the air pollution. I also like riding on motorcycles with friends, but it doesn't feel as safe as riding in a rickshaw or a car.
The autorickshaw is connected to Indian history and culture because they first appeared in the 1880s and have grown to be the main form of transit since that time. I also find it interesting that the auto drivers decorate their vehicles with stickers and Hindu items, such as statues of Ganesha (a Hindu god), on their dashboards.
