Life of a Second Grader in Italy!

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

She wants to walk and go alone, but her parents are worried about the traffic because there is no sidewalk on the way to school where she lives. Her dad takes her to school in a car or on a motorcycle.

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

Lucrezia eats lunch at school with the other students. She loves sushi and said her second favorite food is avocado toast. Also, she loves pizza. Her mom takes her out to get sushi and pizza once a week.

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

She speaks Italian at school, English during her English class and French during French class. Ciao is hello in Italian.

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Marco, Giorgo, Chiara and Giulia.

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

She studies Italian literature, English, French, math, science, art, geography, history, technology, music, civic education and religion, but her favorite class is science.

What is your homework like?:

She said she gets tons of homework each night and usually takes two to three hours to do it. It is usually worksheets and other exercises.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

She does volleyball on Wednesday and Friday in the afternoon, after lunch at school. On Saturday, she does swimming, which is her favorite sport. She travels around Italy and competes in swimming.
