Namaste everyone! My name is Hannah Davies, and I am 25 years old. I spent most of my life growing up in a popular town for summer tourism located in Cape Cod, MA. Whenever I am home, I enjoy lounging at the local beaches and running on the Cape Cod Canal. When I was 18 years old, I moved an hour away to study Neuroscience, Psychology, and Chemistry at Brandeis University. I enjoyed Brandeis' neuroscience courses so much that I chose to complete my master's degree there too! After graduating from Brandeis University, I completed a two-year research fellowship at the Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta, GA.
Using my past work related to the visual system, autism services, and healthcare technology, I came up with my own research project which received funding from the U.S. Fulbright-Nehru Research Grant. I will be studying the effectiveness of an Indian autism intervention by monitoring children's social, communication, and motor skills with a tablet app. I am working at the AIIMS Nagpur hospital and living in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India for 9 months! I cannot wait to show you what life is like living in India, and I am excited to take you on my many adventures exploring India's cultural and religious scenes. I am looking forward to meeting you all very soon!
