Traveler Bio

I first traveled to Paris when I was 13, and I couldn't get enough. I knew I would come back one day. I started studying French so I would be prepared when I finally got the opportunity to go back, which luckily is this semester. I'm currently living in a homestay with a French woman and another American student who has become a good friend. We're located in a charming suburb just a five minute walk from the city.

More than anything else, I'm passionate about travel and language, so a study abroad program was naturally the perfect choice for me. In my free time, I love to read and explore the city. I also like to draw, listen to music, and occasionally play the piano, though not well.

At home, I study English at Bridgewater State University. BSU doesn't have a French program, so I was able to take on a certificate of Global Languages in order to study French here. In France, I attend the Catholic University of Paris, a liberal arts school in the Latin Quarter. It's just a short walk from the Luxembourg gardens and the Panthéon. I'm looking forward to sharing my journey with you!
