Growing Up in England!

But you don't need to drive in London, so I just haven't succeeded yet. And yes, I am much too old not to be able to drive, but what can you do? In the U.S., you can't go to the shop without a car, which is mad to us. In Wales, yes you need a car because it's in the middle of nowhere, but my brother lives in Oxford, and he can't drive, either. He just bikes or takes the bus. I feel like we generally drive less here in the U.K."

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

"British clothing consists of lots of layers and jumpers and jackets and coats! It gets cold here. I love a stripey thing!"

What do you like to do in your free time?:

"In my free time, I like to read, paint, and go to museums with my friends. Almost all museums here are free; the Tate (Modern Art Museum) is free, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the National History Museum, the Portrait Gallery...."

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

"As a typical British person, I only speak English fluently, but I know a few phrases to get by in Arabic because I lived in Saudi Arabia with my family. I suppose we [British people] say 'ello, a little bit. 'Ello!"

Do you have pets?:

"No! I don't have a dog, I wish I did. But I can go to the park and see 800 dogs, so it's all good."

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

"Ooh, loads of different places! I moved a lot when I was a bit younger, so I've traveled quite a bit. I'm trying to think of the best places... Sri Lanka is very cool, and Oman, too. If you ever get a chance to go to Oman, I highly reccommend it. And Costa Rica, probably.
