Since Costa Rica is a bridge between North and South America, there are many types of cuisines. I got to try Venezuelan Arepas.
A traditional meal made by the indigenous people of Quitirrisí. Pictured is rice and a tortilla with a special plant. Its called Chicasquil and is cooked during special ceremonies and events.
