This is the Coronated Tree Frog we found hanging from a branch in the Manú Rainforest
The strawberry poison dart frog (adult female). My professor picked it up and said the ones in Costa Rica aren't as poisonous! They eat ants and mites which are high in alkaloids, this is what allows them to secrete toxins.
This is Minas del Aguacate, a waterfall I visited nearby. Its a short hike with free entrance.
These are cacao beans which are drying out. One of the steps in making chocolate
The golden orb spider. Our professor took this picture while we were looking at it. Then I looked up and saw one was above my head!

We found bats asleep under a leaf. But they woke up as soon as they heard us coming!
