Living in Costa Rica has taught me so much about the world's beauty. I had never seen so much biodiversity and nature before I came here. From vibrant hummingbirds to rare frog species, I have come to value the environment so much more. I got the chance to learn Spanish and the Tico culture. The country cares deeply about nature and its people, and this is something I will carry with me. I have made so many friends abroad, both in my program and in the country. The experience has opened my eyes to life's opportunities and has made me want to travel even more.
I'm so grateful to have met all of you. I truly enjoyed your thoughftul questions and interests. I hope your curiosity inspires you to travel and see the world. These experiences were possible for me through my college and the Gilman scholarship. All of you are capable of studying and working hard to achieve this dream. If it's possible for me, it's possible for you. I hope every single one of you has the chance to study abroad. These magical experiences are waiting for you!
