Loc, my Vietnamese friend from Can Tho, is a man of many talents. He is a history buff, expert on American music and manages to pursue his love for photography and graphic design, all while still saving time for friends and family. It was an honor to interview this Renaissance Man (someone who knows a little bit about a lot of things) and learn more about his enchanting life.
My full name is Vinh Loc Lam Huynh, but my friends call me Loc.
I live in a suburban area of Can Tho city. In total, there are six people living in a five-bedroom house. I live with my grandparents, father, step-mother and brother.
As I mentioned earlier, I live in the same house as my family. This is a typical living arrangement in Vietnam. I see my family quite a bit in my house and around Can Tho. Jack had a chance to meet my grandparents at a coffee shop and my father at a motorbike repair shop.
I ride my Honda Future 125cc motorbike around town. Though I enjoy getting around the city on my motorbike, I prefer taking longer trips because Can Tho feels small sometimes. I love feeling the wind on my face when I'm riding on the highway. Sometimes bugs smash into my windshield!
