Traveler Bio

As-salaam Alaykum (Peace be with you)! My name is Jada Jenkins– I’m a 20-year-old film student from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I grew up in a small town called Coraopolis, just a stone's throw away from where I attend college at Chatham University. Our campus is beautiful, often shared with deer that roam as freely as the students—it’s like they’re part of the class!

As someone who appreciates a scenic backdrop, I am thrilled to be traveling to Meknes, Morocco. This trip marks my first time leaving the country, and although I’m nervous, my excitement prevails! I’m especially excited to visit Chefchaouen, a city that is all blue! Can you imagine that? I’ve probably looked at every photo of it on Google!

But if I’m falling in love with Morocco just from photos I bet I’ll love the view even more in person! I can’t wait to meet new people and learn all Arabic I can! I’m so excited to record my adventures for you, and I hope you’ll share your stories with me, too!
