I cannot believe this Reach the World experience is already coming to an end! It still feels unreal that I got the chance to travel the world, and I am so grateful for the Gilman Scholarship that helped make it all possible. If you ever find yourself at university wanting to study abroad, I would definitely check out the Gilman Scholarship. I honestly had the time of my life!
Getting to visit France was like stepping into a dream. Lourdes was peaceful and meaningful in a way that is hard to describe, and Paris had this energy that just pulls you in. Then, there was London, which is full of history. Morocco completely blew me away with how colorful, warm and alive everything felt, and I could have stayed in the Basque Country forever. Every place had something different to offer, and each one taught me something new.
One of my favorite parts was being able to come back and actually share these experiences with you all! It meant a lot to me that I had a space where people wanted to hear about what I saw and learned. I am especially thankful for Miss Garcia for giving me that chance. I wish you all the best in life, and I hope this empowers you to take that first step of exploring the world and stepping outside your comfort zone.
