Locals LOVE pastizzi! Walking down the street anywhere and at any time, you are sure to come across at least three different places competing to sell them. It's honestly hard sometimes to not get one because they make the streets smell so good when they are cooking in the oven. There is not really an inappropriate time to eat pastizzi, so I've had them as a snack or even for breakfast before!
