Interview With Alaiyah

I'm not allowed to go to school by myself because I live too far away and there is a lot of traffic so it is dangerous for young children.

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch at school. We can bring our own lunches or buy something from the tech shop (food seller located in the school). My favorite food is burgers.

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

At school, I speak English because I attend a private school. In government schools, they speak a mix of Maltese and English. In my language (Maltese), we don't really have a word for "Hello," but we say "Good Morning" ("Bongu") or "Good Afternoon" ("Il-waranofsinhar it-tajjeb").

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

I attend an all-girls school, and the most popular names are my name (Alaiyah) and Martina.

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

I study Math, English, Maltese, Science, Social Studies, Religion, Physical Education, IT and Music/Art/Theatre.

What is your homework like?:

I don't have too much homework yet.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

I like to play on my iPad and watch YouTube videos. My favorite sport is dancing. My favorite games are Minecraft and Road Blocks.

Who is your favorite famous person?:

My favorite person is Vixella, a famous American YouTuber.

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

I really like pop music.
