Traveler Bio

¡Hola (hello)! My name is Jasmine Ortiz and I am a senior in college studying abroad in Seville, Spain. I have lived my whole 22 years of life in Texas moving from Fort Worth, Dallas, and Lubbock (where I go to college now). I am a first-generation Mexican Latina who loves learning about Hispanic culture! I also love writing and watching new TV shows both in English and Spanish. When the weather is not too hot, I love to go on bike rides with my family.

I go to Texas Tech University and am studying for a dual degree in both marketing and Spanish. I am in Spain to finish the last of my studies for my Spanish degree. Currently in Spain, we have been visiting old historic buildings and learning about their history. I love to find native speakers and hear stories about their childhood and how it is very different that back in the United States.

Looking forward to showing you my travels all around Europe and sharing a new piece of culture with you guys. ¡Nos vemos pronto (see you soon)!
