I didn't travel outside of Madrid this week, unfortunately.
This week, I haven't done any traveling other than to and from work, which is only about a 20-minute walk!
This week, I've used the metro system and my own two feet to get around.
As I mentioned before, I went to Retiro Park with some friends. We saw La Rosaleda, and walked around El Lago (a huge manmade lake) for sunset. It was chilly but beautiful!
While I haven't traveled much lately, I've planned some trips for the near future. In February, I'm going on three trips! In the beginning of the month, I'll be going to Valencia (a city along the Eastern coast of Spain) for my Fulbright mid-year conference. Then, I'll be going on my first solo trip to Bilbao and San Sebastián on the Northern coast! Finally, I'm heading to Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands (a community of Spain that's located off the coast of Morocco and Western Sahara) for a carnival with some friends! I'm so excited!
