Sabaidee! Hello! My name is Jess, and I am 22 years old. I was born and raised in rural Wyoming. We have lots of National and State Parks, like the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. The state still has real cowboys, horses, and rodeos all over! As a kid, I never got the chance to leave the United States.
The first time I left the United States in 2023 was to spend 6 months learning how to teach English in Pamplona, Spain. Since then, I have traveled to over 30 countries and hope to go to many more! I have two degrees from the University of Wyoming - one in teaching and one in international politics. This year, my travels take me to Laos! Laos is a small, landlocked, communist country in Southeast Asia. I will be teaching English at Souphanouvong University, in Luang Prabang. Luang Prabang is the ancient capital of many kingdoms, and the entire city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site! It's also home to many Buddhist temples, which are still inhabited by monks. I'm excited to share the journey with you!
