The main language here in Seville, Spain is Spanish, but due to the thick accent that people from Seville have, people from other parts of the country say that it seems like a different language. The Spanish they speak here is called Andalusian Spanish.
Due to Spain being part of the European Union, they use the Euro.
A regular 16oz water bottle goes for around 0.35€ which is $0.42.
I currently live with a host family that is from Seville, and they are do my meals and cooking for me. This past week I loved the Patatas Aioli. These are boiled potatos with an aioli sauce that has milk, garlic, parsley and pepper, and it is one of my favorite features in Spanish cusine.
I still listen to the music I listen to back home, like rock and R&B, but lately I have been listening to some Sevillanas and Flamenco. These two genres of music are from Seville and are very characteristic of the south of Spain. If you have ever seen a Flamenco dancer or anything like that, they are most likely from Spain. I recommend you try listening to it; this music has a lot of emotion and flavor to it.
