I even took selfies with professional athletes I really look up to. It felt like a dream come true, and you can see this in the huge smile on my face!
Of course, what takes up most of my time is school. I study mechanical engineering, which means I learn the math and science behind how the world works. For example, if you know the height of a roller coaster loop, you can calculate the speed needed to complete the loop. I think it’s amazing to see the world from the science viewpoint! Don’t you agree?
As you may have heard, I’m currently studying abroad in Valencia, Spain! I chose Valencia because of its traditional meals, such as paella, its closeness to the beach and the engineering classes available at the university. One day, I want to learn how to make tortilla valenciana to share with my family back at home! Even though I grew up speaking Spanish, the locals in Valencia speak three to four languages: Catalan, Valencian, Spanish and English. It’s so cool to see how everyone communicates!
Through my journey, I want you all to see how different cultures across the world can impact how people live. By the end of this year, I hope you’ll feel excited and confident to explore the world for yourself one day! I am very excited to learn with you in this Reach the World experience. Thank you for reading about me, and take care, everyone!
