Hello! My name is Kadin, and I’m currently studying Agricultural Science with a focus on conservation, national parks, and how humans interact with the environment at University College Dublin in Ireland. Originally from Fontana, Kansas. I’ve always been deeply connected to nature and fascinated by the balance between human activity and the natural world. Growing up, I spent hours hiking, exploring parks, and learning about wildlife conservation, which inspired me to pursue a degree where I could study the preservation of natural spaces and sustainable practices that protect our planet.
Studying abroad in Ireland has been an incredible opportunity to expand my understanding of conservation in a new context. I’ve made it a point to explore Ireland’s national parks and protected areas, learning about their role in preserving biodiversity and offering recreational spaces for the public.
Meeting people from all over the world has also been a highlight of my journey. I’ve had the chance to connect with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds who share a passion for conservation, sustainability, and outdoor recreation. These conversations have helped me broaden my perspective on environmental issues and inspired me to think about how different communities approach conservation challenges.
