I wanted to try the difference between the Ulster fry and the english breakfast especially since I wrote about it in the last field notes. It was slightly different, as I had read, but just as filling and amazing. I paid a bit more money in comparison to the Ulster fry, so some components tasted better. I enjoyed the toast more on the Ulster fry, as in the English breakfast it's just one big piece of bread. I was so happy to have tried it to see the comparison, but also to show you all!
I listened to my normal mix of sad indie pop and normal pop throughout the week. Recently I have been trying to find a new genre to listen to, so I just put on something random and let it shuffle and give me new music. While in London, my friend Claire and I did see someone playing bagpipes close to Big Ben, which was really cool to listen to while exploring London for the first time. On the way back from the airport in Belfast, my friend who gave us a lift played a mix of country and Irish trad music. It was an interesting combination, but I really enjoyed both the music and the ride.
I would definitely say exploring London because I have never been before. I went with my friend Claire because I had bought tickets to see Kurtis Conner, a comedian. I decided to make it a weekend trip so I could also explore London. The city is really big, but also incredibly beautiful! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the best trips I have taken so far. I was able to see Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Bridge, the London Eye, St. Paul's Cathedral, Highgate Cemetary, and so much more.
