We did not exactly have a plan to visit any area in specific while being in London, so we looked on Google maps and wandered around the city. It was incredible, the buildings and architecture is incredibly gorgeous! I was stunned and loved wandering around the city seeing all of its beauty.
Since I am on holiday (spring break) at my university right now, I have not been reading any textbooks, but I am currently reading a book called Giving Out Yards by Tara Flynn. In Ireland, ‘giving out’ means complaining. This book was written by an author who grew up in Ireland and it talks about everything Irish people complain about. It starts from things with the letter A and goes until Z. I’ve found it interesting and funny, but also a great way to learn some slang and the things that annoy Irish people.
I did not play any sports, since I am not involved in any on campus. However, I did go to the gym, where I usually weight lift and run, since there’s a trail right behind my gym along the river. I didn’t play any games except for solitaire and spider solitaire on my phone, mostly when I was on the subway, on the plane, or just bored at the hostel. I almost played a nice game of pool at the hostel, but it was a busy night and no tables were open. People love their pool here, it's a great pass of time and available at most pubs!
