The main and official language of Thailand is Thai. The script, or letters, of the Thai language are different from our own script. In the places that I visited in Thailand including Chiang Mai and Phuket, many people speak English because there is so much tourism in these parts of the country.
In Thailand, their currency is called the Thai baht. This money is very colorful. 1 Thai baht equals about $0.03 U.S. dollars.
A bottle of water in Thailand costs about 15 baht, which is about $0.50 in U.S. dollars.
The best meal that I had in Thailand was pad thai, which is a rice noodle dish in which the noodles are stir-fried with vegetables and meat. It’s so delicious!
