Hallo! Hi! My name is Kate Lowery, and I am 23 years old. I grew up in Hudson, Wisconsin, a small town in the northwestern part of the state. Growing up, I loved my music classes and spent time learning as many instruments as I could. I also loved my German classes, especially the ones where I learned about German food, culture, and cities.
When I left home to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I decided to study music education, so I could learn to become a music teacher. I also continued to study German, hoping to one day travel to Germany. After I graduated from UW Madison, I applied to become a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) in Germany and was thrilled when I was selected! I am currently living in Kulmbach, Germany, where I help teach high school English. I am so excited to meet your class and to share my journey with all of you!
