Hello friends! My name is Katherine Newton, but you can call me Kate. I am 20 years old and I am a senior in college at the University of Georgia where I study international affairs and French. I am from Peachtree City, Georgia, where we drive golf carts all around the town on special golf paths that lead to places like our schools, the grocery store, and the park. Would you like that?
One day I attended the Study Abroad Fair at my university, where I learned about my school's program with Oxford University in the United Kingdom. I applied for that program that weekend and was accepted! I recieved many scholarships to help pay for my study abroad experience, including the Gilman Scholarship. Lots of amazing things happened while I was abroad in Europe. Let's re-live them together!
