Spanish and Galician are the main languages spoken here.
The Euro is the currency used here.
A one-person bottle of water at my local restaurant costs about two euros.
This week I made filloas (Galician crepes) with my Galician class. It was more of a dessert than a meal, but I definitely ate my fill!
Most stores here actually play American pop music, but I also listened to some reggaeton that my students recommended and some boleros, which are Spanish love songs usually slow enough for me to understand.
I really enjoyed making filloas with my Galician class and learning about their significance to Carnaval, the festive season that marks the start of Lent before Easter.
I am reading El Juego de Ender (Ender's Game) by Orson Scott Card right now. I've read it before in English, but it's so cool to read it again in Spanish!
I played handball with the gym class at my school.
