The main language spoken here is Czech. Some people also speak English in the town where I live. Most of the people who speak English are part of the younger generation.
People do not use the U.S. dollar here. The type of money used here is the Czech koruna. One Czech koruna is worth around five cents in the U.S.
A bottle of water costs about 41 koruna (two U.S. dollars).
The best meal this week was homemade tacos. I made them with a colleague, and it was really fun. We used tortillas, cooked meat, cheese, lettuce and some yummy salsa. The tacos were delicious and full of flavor!
I have not listened to too much music this week because I have been very busy. But when I do listen, I like calm music (such as Jazz). I usually listen to it while I am cleaning or cooking.
The most fun activity I did this week was going for a hike. I went the day after it snowed, and the landscape looked beautiful and white. I really enjoyed being outside and exploring in the snow. I had to wear warm clothes and snow boots.
