At first, I thought this type of music (kpop) was just like everything I had ever heard before, just like two thousands pop all over again. I had listened to enough Gwen Stefani and Fergie to last my lifetime! But, over time, I started to like this new music. I started to buy their music when I got my first job and even started to study the Korean language from a Korean textbook I borrowed for two years from my community library while still in high school. When I realized I wanted to go to college, I couldn't decide what I wanted to do: I had to choose a major and didn't want to study anything as much as asian food, music and movies. I wanted to study Asian culture. Somehow, through a vague google search, I found this school in a small town in Western Pennsylvania that had made a major for kids who liked Asian culture and who wanted to be a part of understanding a completely different way of living, speaking and doing business. I got into that school almost a week after applying, and now I'm studying in one of my favorite countries in the world! I'm so happy to have you with me!
