My favorite landmark was a red tower named Rokkendai, which symbolizes six philosophers who influenced the park.
My host family told me that Tokyo gets nearly as hot as Houston in the summer! I was surprised since I had assumed that Japan would be way cooler than Texas. Luckily, the climate in Tokyo is milder overall, so I won't have to worry about the blazing heat for awhile.
