My Experience with Italian Food

The one I made was a little undercooked, meaning that It was not soft enough to chew. But with my original experience of having gnocchi, it is such a delicate dish that you can eat it every day if you want to. When I ate the tiramisù, it was so delicious! I love coffee so much that I can eat it in any form, and why not in my host country's famous dessert, tiramisù?

How is the food prepared?:

The main ingredients of gnocchi are potatoes, egg, salt, and flour. It is steamed (or boiled) in a pot until it has softened. Once softened, it is then mashed and mixed with flour to get a bread-like consistency. Next, you roll it out until it's as long as a pole, cut it into small bite-sized pieces, and then boil them in water until softened. Once it's ready, take it out of the pot, plate your dish and add parmesan cheese for taste.

Tiramisù is a layered cake. Each flavor is layered on top of the other, creating an amazing taste. The ingredients are rich, so you have to put the right amount; otherwise, it will throw off the taste. You must serve it chilled to enjoy this dish. I have attached a screenshot of the tiramisù ingredients.

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

The food is connected to the local environment because it can be served in local restaurants and at home. Even as someone doing an internship with my host country from my own home, I can make and purchase the dishes from the nearest restaurant or grocery store.
