It has also helped me see that even though people live far away from each other, we still have many things in common.
I was able to have this experience because of the Gilman-McCain Scholarship Program, which helps students study in other countries. Programs like this make it possible for people to travel, learn and connect with others around the world. My experience with Reach the World has also been a lot of fun. Even though we live far away from each other, I love that we can still share our lives and learn from one another. My journey is not quite done yet, because I will be studying in Austria this summer and hope to explore even more new places.
I hope that one day, you will get the chance to travel too. You might visit a new place, try new foods or learn a new language. Even if you stay close to home, you can still learn about the world by asking questions and staying curious.
