Hello! My name is Kiari (pronounced Kai-ree), and I’m from Virginia. I grew up in a military family, which meant meeting people from many different backgrounds. That helped bloom my curiosity about the world and how people live in places different from my own.
I’m traveling to Morocco because I want to learn what everyday life looks like there. Morocco is a country with a long history, many traditions, and a mix of cultures and languages. While I’m there, I’ll be paying attention to things like food, school, family life, and how people spend their days. I’m especially excited to notice what feels familiar and what feels new.
I chose to share my journey through Reach the World because I believe learning about the world shouldn’t be limited to textbooks. Not everyone can travel to another country, but everyone can learn from real experiences. Through photos, stories, and reflections, I want to give you a window into daily life in a new place and help you feel like you’re traveling alongside me.
As we go on this journey together, I hope you’ll ask questions, make connections, and think about how people around the world are both different and similar. I can’t wait to explore Morocco with you and learn together!
