Usually, they play local famo music, which uses a lot of whistling, drums and accordian. But when I'm at my own house I listen to a lot of hip hop and R&B!

What activity was the most fun this week?:

On Thursday, my class and I watched Madagascar on my laptop. It was a great way for my students to practice their English listening skills, and they LOVE the song "I like to move it, move itfrom the movie. 

What did I read this week?:

Recently, I've beed reading a book called Shipped, which is a love story that takes place on a cruise. I spend a lot of my time in Lesotho reading because I don't have electricty, and I enjoy getting to escape into another world. 

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I unfortunately didn't play any games or sports this week, but we did do a bit of yoga at school. Yoga isn't very popular in Lesotho and none of my students had heard of it before. But now they love when we do yoga because they get to go outside and stretch their bodies in the fresh mountain air!

Other news from this week:

On Friday, we celebrated Valentine's Day at my school. Students have to wear a uniform everyday, but we allowed them to dress up in red, white and pink for Valentine's Day. It's not a widely celebrated holiday here, but it's always fun to dress up and celebrate a holiday from home.
