What was the best meal this week?:

The best meal I had this week was all-you-can-eat wagyu steak. Japan is known for all-you-can-eat or all-you-can-drink deals. They usually give you 90 minutes to order as much as you want, but be careful! If you get too full and leave extra food, they charge you a fee for wasting the food. When I had bottomless wagyu, they had a grill in the middle of the table, and they served you raw slabs of steak for you to cook yourself. Eventually, one of the chefs had to come over and show us how it was done because we were not cooking it properly. Wagyu is very expensive because of how it is made. The cows used for wagyu are pampered throughout their lives, eating a special diet and even receiving massages! This is to create what is called marbling, where the fat of the cow is evenly distributed into the meat. Because of this, the flavor of wagyu is unmatched, and I doubt I will ever try a hunk of meat that can top wagyu. The whole thing only cost me $35.

What music did I listen to this week?:

This week, I didn't listen to much music. However, when I ride my bike down the river, I often see lots of people playing their instruments. I think this is because it is considered rude to play in your house, as it can be noisy and disruptive. Therefore, people go outside and into nature, where they can play as loud as they want in the open air. I've seen tuba and trumpet players, and even someone who brought their entire drum set.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

This week, I think my trip to Osaka was the most fun, but it'd be hard to choose between the aquarium and the bottomless wagyu.
