Aloha! My name is Kristen. I currently live in Hawaii, a small set of islands in the Pacific Ocean. “Aloha” means "Hello" in Hawaiian. I love to be outside, especially when it’s sunny. I could swim all day long and I love to surf, as long as the waves are not too big. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Hawaii is really far from St. Louis, but so was the place I chose to study abroad: Morocco.
I lived in Morocco last fall for four months to study a new language and learn about the main religion there. I was excited to experience this part of the world for myself. There are a lot of differences in the ways we live, but there are also so many similarities. I am looking forward to sharing much more on that with you over the next few months!
