Hola from Spain!
I’ve now been living in Spain for almost two months, and today I would like to inform you about the fashion trends. Everything I’m going to share is based on what I have seen at my university and around the city, so it might be a little different in other parts of Spain, but these are the biggest trends I have noticed here.
The most popular stores for people my age are Pull & Bear (very relaxed, soft “cool street” style), Bershka (fun and trendy) and Primark (a huge store consisting of four floors with items priced very cheap). Thrifting is also very popular and is available at flea markets on a Sunday.
How guys dress:
The style for guys here is like a mix between formal and casual. For example, it’s totally normal to go to dinner or a night event wearing a nice button-down shirt with jeans. For shoes, people wear anything from sneakers to Birkenstock clogs depending on the vibe. One thing I noticed that is very different from the U.S.
