Hi, explorers! My name is Laleh, and I am a researcher living in the Netherlands: a small country in Europe famous for bicycles, canals, windmills, and lots of delicious cheese!
I am here as a Fulbright researcher, which means I traveled from the United States to learn about an important question: How can we help people build a good life after they leave prison? I talk with people who work in prisons, schools, charities, and government offices. I am especially interested in how education and job training can help people find work, make healthy choices, and become part of their communities again.
When I am not researching, I love exploring new places, visiting museums, trying Dutch foods, and learning the Dutch language. I cannot wait to share my adventures with you—and to learn about all the things you are curious about!
