Traveler Bio

Kia ora koutou! Hello everyone! My name is Larkin, and I am a 21-year-old college student from the Bay Area!

I grew up in a town in Northern California, close to San Francisco. As a kid, I was quite shy, but I loved the outdoors. I enjoyed exploring new places as much as I could and imagining what life would be like to live there. I grew up to be a very curious person who is passionate about many subjects. I carried that mindset into college, and am currently studying biology, psychology, and classics. I love to follow my interests and explore new places, which is why I chose to study abroad!

New Zealand is one of the most unique places I've ever experienced. I have a disability that makes my muscles a bit weak, so it can be hard to travel on my own. No matter what, I've always found a way that I can enjoy being outside. It makes me super happy to be in such a safe and exciting place!

Please join me in enjoying this experience! I hope you'll learn about New Zealand's wildlife and culture alongside me. I hope to show you that no matter your circumstances, you can explore the world.
