Travel News

How far did I travel this week?:

My favorite spot that I have visited in France is called Étretat. It is around three hours by bus, and it is popular for its cliffs. I went with a group of international students across many universities in Paris. When you are abroad, many organizations plan trips and activities where you can get to know students who are living the same experience as you. This trip was great, and the view from those cliffs made me feel a different kind of peace.

How far have I traveled on this journey so far?:

I feel grateful because I have travelled a lot in France; sometimes it feels like France is only made up of Paris, but there is much more to know about. I went to London in October to visit a friend from school. It was amazing, we just said to ourselves, who would've thought we would meet again in Europe two years after graduation.

How did I get around this week?:

I always take the metro to my university and almost every other place. Sometimes I take the bus, too. It's nice to look at the city. And on those nights where it's too late, I take Uber.

What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

Some weeks, the most interesting place you visit is the library, and this week was one of those. Again, when you study abroad, the really interesting things are found in daily life.
