School starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.
Everyday I walk to school, either alone or with my brother. Usually I walk in jandals (flip flops) or even sometimes bare feet (I walk 1-2 km through a nature gully which has streams filled with eels, birds, and bugs). It is so exciting because my brother and I will often walk off the path after school and try to catch eels in the stream.
I eat lunch on the ground, just outside the field. We aren’t allowed onto the grass until we have finished eating. My favorite food is sushi.
I speak English at school, and I would say, "Hey", "Hi" or "Sup?".
Common names in my school are Sophie, Emma, Josh, Jack, and Georgia. Maori names are also common such as Tama.
I study English, math, art, science, cooking and other subjects. Art is my favourite because I get to organise the art room and create cool paintings and drawings!
