This week, I can undoubtedly feel that summer has left the city. Even though the weather is in the low 50s, the wind makes it feel like temperatures are in the low 40s. I always need a jacket and a beanie when I am traveling to and from school, these days.
I petted a cat on the side of the road on my way home from school one day. The cats in New Zealand often wear a bell to protect and warn the birds.
I saw a full rainbow for the first time in years! Every color of the rainbow was visible. It provided a nice contrast against the grey clouds in the background.
Sometimes the wind is so strong that it blows at 31 miles per hour, which is six mph faster than the speed you are allowed to drive at in a residential area! This kind of wind can literally blow you away!
