Barcelona also has a mix of natural and human-made beauty -- from palm trees and warm blue water to colorful buildings designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudi. The weather is usually sunny and mild, making it the perfect place to walk, bike, or sit outside. It almost never snows here in Barcelona, though you can sometimes see snow on the mountaintops in the distance. Around every corner, there’s a cozy coffee shop where people relax, study or meet with friends, which are all a big part of the everyday lifestyle.
