The dorms are on the other side of town from the University, but in the morning, there is a special bus that takes students from the dorms to the University. It usually takes about 20-30 minutes. After school, there is no special bus for SBTU students, so it can take up to an hour and a half to get home.
Like students in the United States, Hayrunnisa shops at the mall and popular stores like A101!
In her free time, Hayrunnisa likes to hang out with the friends she has made in Sivas. Additionally, she likes to watch American shows like Stranger Things and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. With her family, she watches a lot of American movies, like the Godfather, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. However, we disagree on whether Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter is better (obviously Harry Potter).
Hayrunnisa speaks Turkish and English. "Hello" in Turkish is “merhaba”.
Hayrunnisa has no animals at home, but the cats in her village have names and are treated like pets!
She has travled to Istanbul, Kayseri, Ankara, Mersin, Trabzon and Bursa inside of Turkey. Outside of Turkey, she travled to Bulgaria for a swimming race!
