Hi! I'm Liza, and I am a junior at the University of Arkansas. I have always loved the idea of traveling. I grew up spending a lot of time in the car, driving around the U.S. with my family. My first trip out of the country was to Paris in 2023, right after graduation from high school. Over the past three years, I spent three months in California (San Diego area), made various trips across the western U.S., spent six months in France, and visited England. Now I'm on to my next travel adventure: studying for a semester in Torino, Italy!
As I write this, I've been in Italy for one week... and I've already done so much! I'm really excited to eat a lot of amazing Italian food, meet new people, find great hiking trails, and experience all aspects of Italian culture. I'm picking up more Italian words and phrases every day, and the people I meet at the grocery store, around my apartment, in cafes, and on my Italian campus have been so kind and patient.
