The weather was fairly tame this week, although I can tell that winter is coming since it's getting colder by the day. I've lived in California and Hawai'i my entire life, so anything outside of beach weather is too cold for me!
I saw a squirrel and several pigeons. It was interesting seeing pigeons behave similar to the pigeons in big American cities like New York and New Jersey. They're very used to close contact with humans, and will sometimes follow you around if they suspect you have something to give them.
The German word for squirrel is "Eichhörnchen" (pronounced Eye-hern-hyen) and the word for bird is "Vogel" (pronounced Fo-gel).
I think the most fascinating thing was seeing how integrated the city and nature are in Vienna. The city focuses on having natural life in as many places as possible. My favorite spot is a small shop I spotted while walking by.
