It has really taught me that the best way to learn a new language is to practice with the locals who live there.
I sat down at a beautiful coffee shop to read a book I bought before I left the states. It's about runes, their origins, and their meanings. If I haven't stated it before, I'm a published author, and I plan on using more mythological elements in my next book. It was great to sit down at a lovely coffee shop and study up on Norse mythology!
In my freetime, I love to play video games. I played a lot of Minecraft Dungeons 2 since it just came out not too long ago. In terms of sports, I've mostly been going to the gym in the mornings!
The US Embassy for Austria held a conference for Fulbright students, and even though I was not a Fulbrighter, the Department of State still invited me to attend as a Gilman Scholar. The event was great, and I a got a photo with a Secret Service agent guarding the Ambassador's 2nd floor area. Not every day you get a photo with secret service!
