Traveler Bio

Hi! My name is Lucy. I was born in the Greater Washington D.C. area and grew up in East Tennessee. My parents used to travel a lot for work, and that got me interested in international travel at a young age. I went to college at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, where I studied psychology--I love learning what makes people the way they are. Along the way, I did an exchange year in Germany and ended up completing a German Studies minor and becoming fluent in German. I returned to the U.S. to complete my degree, but swore that I would return to Germany one day!

Fast-forward to today, when I'm now living and working in Germany. I'm in charge of teaching a whole German high school as much as I can about America! When I'm not working, I will be exploring more of Germany and German culture. I hope you'll join my journey to see how I do, and together we'll learn more about Germany and the people who call it home. Let's go!
