Hallo! Hello! My name is Lucy Patterson and I was born and raised a Midwestern gal. I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I ate eat great food, watched our professional sports teams lose almost ALL of their games, and went to our usual family vacation destination: Iowa. Funny enough, once I graduated from high school, I decided to go to the University of Iowa. I guess I just couldn't kick that Midwestern bug! I studied French, German, and international business, and began to long for more exposure to the rest of the world.
I decided to spend a semester in Lyon, France, and it was AMAZING! So amazing, in fact, that I decided I wanted to spend even more time experiencing new cultures. I applied for a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship for Germany and was lucky enough to be selected. I can confidently say this has been the best experience of my life and I'm so excited to share my experiences with you and hear your stories as well! Bis gleich! See you soon!
