The Dutch word gezellig is an integral part of the Dutch language. It does not have a direct translation, but it means something along the lines of coziness, happiness, contentedness, and comfort. The Dutch use it to explain their feelings about a party, a certain atmosphere, a classroom or whatever makes them feel at home. So far, my experience has been gezellig!
